Salesian Jubilarians Honored on Provincial Assembly Days

This year’s celebration of the Provincial Assembly Days (PADS) is held at St. Louis School – Don Bosco in Dumaguete City on October 28 to 29. It is a yearly gathering of the Salesians from the Philippines South Province for fraternity, fellowship, and commemoration. One of the highlights of the event is the recognition of Salesians who are celebrating milestones in their religious profession or priestly ordination.

Celebrating 25 years of priesthood are Fr. Joriz Calsa, SDB, and Fr. John Vernil Lopez, SDB, who are unable to join due to conflicting schedules. Celebrating their anniversaries of perpetual profession are Bro. Antonio Hopida, SDB, and Bro. Arsenio Gustilo III, SDB, with 60 years and 25 years to their names, respectively. Fr. Arturo Sanchez Jr., SDB, is honored for his 50 years since his first profession, while Fr. Ariel Arias, SDB, and Fr. Rhine Marco Bollozos, SDB, are honored for their 25 years since their first profession.

The recognition given to these Salesians is not merely an expression of gratitude but also an acknowledgment of their dedication and love for the mission, with the hope that it will bear more fruit in Salesian vocations.
