At the start of the new school year 2023-2024 the SYM leaders, who had a 3-days summer camp training on recruitment, began a two-week recruitment period for the clubs – both religious and interest clubs. They put up posters along the school corridors to introduce each club with its nature and purpose. In one of the morning assemblies, they gave a PowerPoint presentation to the whole student body about the different clubs. Facebook posts about the clubs were also provided in the DBTI Facebook page.
The religious clubs are: Knights of the Altar, Lilies of the Altar, Juventus, Savio, Zatti Friends, Friends of Laura Vicuña, Biblos, and Auxilium. The interest clubs are: DB Music, Arts and Design, Parabolics, Danceur Maneuvers, Busko Pinoy and Magnus Science.
At the end of the recruitment period, the different leaders set up a registration booth for each of the clubs at the school gymnasium during lunch time.
On September 8, in honor of the Blessed Virgin Mary, the final list of club members will be announced and posted in strategic spots around the campus. Everyone at the moment is excited for the SYM Kick-Off event that would follow on September 11.
