Lawaan, Talisay City — With the theme “Reignite: The Faith of Our Youth,” the Don Bosco Youth Center (DBYC)-Lawaan held Camp Agape 2025 at the Don Bosco Formation Center on June 2 and 3, 2025. The two-day camp gathered young people from all DBYC sodalities, providing them with opportunities to strengthen their faith, build friendships, and serve the community.

The first day began with a warm welcome and opening program, hosted by Ate Ice Ceniza and Kuya James Torres, at the Audio-Visual Room. Campers enjoyed a Get-To-Know-You (GTKY) session that helped everyone connect and feel at ease. A highlight of the program was a talk by Mr. Eduardo Empelis Jr. from the Knights of the Altar sodality, who inspired participants to rekindle their faith and reminded them that the youth are called, commissioned, and chosen by God to serve. In the evening, campers participated in the Clearance Game, which featured five stations with different challenges promoting teamwork and camaraderie. Throughout the day, participants also completed assigned cleaning chores, teaching them responsibility and care for their surroundings.

The second day featured a meaningful pilgrimage, during which campers visited six different churches in the southern part of Cebu Province. This spiritual journey provided valuable time for prayer, reflection, and personal growth, allowing participants to deepen their faith and strengthen their bonds with one another.

As Camp Agape 2025 concluded, the youth felt renewed and inspired—ready to bring their revitalized faith into their daily lives. The event truly embodied its theme, encouraging all participants to reignite their faith and renew their commitment to service.
