CEBU CITY, Philippines — July 1, 2026 — Key leaders and representatives of the FIS Province gathered at the FIS Provincial House in Talamban, Cebu City, on Wednesday, July 1, for a full-day, face-to-face meeting aimed at strengthening collaboration, evaluating current initiatives, and discussing the province’s priorities.
The meeting brought together the Provincial Superior, members of the Provincial Council, rectors of the different houses, and delegates from the various commissions of the province. The gathering provided an important opportunity for participants to engage in dialogue, share updates from their respective areas of responsibility, and address matters affecting the life and mission of the province.
Throughout the day, discussions focused on significant concerns and developments within the province, as well as plans and programs intended to enhance the effectiveness of its pastoral, administrative, and community activities. Participants also reviewed ongoing projects and explored ways to foster greater coordination among the local communities and the various commissions.
The Provincial Superior, Fr. Amelito Racelis, SDB, emphasized the importance of unity, communication, and collective responsibility in carrying forward the mission of the province.
The gathering marked another significant step in strengthening the bonds among the province’s leaders and communities as they continue their shared ministry and service.
