As the school community prepares for another year of transformative education, the Basic Education Department of Don Bosco Technical College Cebu officially opened its Summer Formation and Onboarding Program for School Year 2026–2027, welcoming Salesian educators back to campus for a season of learning, collaboration, and renewal.
The first leg of the program focused on strengthening academic readiness in anticipation of the school’s transition to the trimester system. From May 4 to 5, Sessions on Curriculum Mapping and Blended Learning were facilitated by Dr. Miguel Rapatan, guiding educators through the process of unpacking competencies and aligning them with the Department of Education’s Budget of Work.
Teachers engaged in collaborative discussions and workshops aimed at ensuring that curriculum delivery remains responsive, organized, and learner-centered. The training also highlighted the importance of integrating innovative and flexible learning approaches that will better support students in the coming academic year.
The onboarding program forms part of the institution’s continuing commitment to professional development, educational excellence, and the Salesian mission of forming young people holistically through meaningful and future-ready education.
The school also expressed its gratitude to Phoenix Publishing House for its valuable partnership and support in making the training program possible.
