Cebu, Philippines, May 16, 2025. The Salesians of the FIS Cebu Cluster gathered for a day of reflection and prayer for the consultation of the new provincial superior. This was facilitated by Fr Alfred Maravilla SDB, former General Counselor for the Missions. The day began with the reading of the letter from the Vicar of the Rector Major, Don Stefano Martoglio SDB, which set the tone for the day’s discussions and the process of discernment that followed. The day ended with a moment Eucharistic Adoration wherein the names of prospective candidates for FIS Provincial were prayerfully written and dropped in a box placed in front of the Blessed Sacrament. Over lunch, the Salesian Novices impressed the confreres with their excellent accapella singing.
