On July 3, 2026, St. Louis School of Don Bosco (SLSDB) held its inaugural Monthly Eucharistic Adoration at the SLSDB Gym. The event brought together students from Grade 4 to Senior High School, as well as faculty members and administrators, for a time of prayer and reflection centered on the Holy Eucharist. It was organized by the Pastoral Affairs Office under the leadership of Fr. Vince Michael K. Sabal, SDB.
The Monthly Eucharistic Adoration seeks to deepen the school community’s love for and devotion to the Holy Eucharist while fostering the spiritual formation of every Bosconian. Rooted in the Salesian tradition, this initiative invites Bosconians, Salesian Educators, and Lay Mission Partners to cultivate a personal and living relationship with Jesus Christ, who is truly present in the Blessed Sacrament.
As the school community begins a new academic year, this act of worship affirms the centrality of Christ in the life and mission of the institution. It serves as a reminder that the Eucharist is the source and summit of Christian life, strengthening the faithful to live out the values of faith, communion, and service in their daily lives. Gathered before the Blessed Sacrament, the school community also prayed for peace, protection, and security on campus, as well as for an increase in vocations to the Salesian religious and priestly life.
The Pastoral Affairs Office will continue to hold Monthly Eucharistic Adoration throughout the school year as part of SLSDB’s ongoing commitment to nurturing a Christ-centered community grounded in prayer, faith, and joyful service.
