God Works to Renew Us
“You of little faith, why doubt?”

When Covid 19 pandemic had been going for already half a year, Cebu held the world’s record of the longest lockdown – over 100 days.
Many people were exhausted. In some places they even had Covid parties for the sole purpose of contaminating of persons. Some lost courage crying “It is the end of the world!” Some lost faith muttering “This is the devil’s work!”
But fortunately more people had chosen to be positive through it all – except in swab testing for virus. Pope Francis led everyone to be optimistic when that year in his Easter Sunday urbi et orbi told the entire world to spread instead the contagion of Hope. Cebu’s now retired Archbishop Jose Palma wrote in one circular letter thus “I wish to gently remind all of us to refrain from hurting one another any further with unkindness because the virus itself has done enough harm to us.”.
To keep up the positivism many followed suit and to posted in social network beautiful photos, artworks and even music. Some also put up challenges.
Let us now then stay faithful and not doubtful, especially now when our country is in almost deplorable situation due to many crises. The trouble were are now in still is God’s way (not the devil’s) to renew (not end) humanity. Lest God reprimand us today “You of little faith, why doubt?”
