DUMAGUETE CITY – St. Louis School of Don Bosco-Dumaguete celebrated the culmination of the Month of the Holy Rosary through a meaningful and faith-filled Parade of Saints on October 30, 2026.
The event brought together the Bosconians in a vibrant expression of faith, devotion, and appreciation for the lives and examples of the saints. Students actively participated in the celebration by portraying various saints and honoring their remarkable witness to Christ through lives of holiness, love, and service.
As part of the celebration, the Bosconians gathered in prayer for the recitation of the Holy Rosary, animated with songs and lively reflections led by Auxilium, FOCAM, and LOA. Their active involvement made the Marian devotion more engaging and prayerful, allowing students to deepen their relationship with the Blessed Virgin Mary and reflect on the mysteries of Christ’s life through her eyes.
Spearheaded by the Pastoral Animation Office, the celebration provided an opportunity for the school community to strengthen its Marian devotion and renew its commitment to following Christ through the example of the saints.
More than a colorful presentation, the Parade of Saints reminded the Bosconians that holiness is not reserved for a few extraordinary people but is a calling for everyone. Through the lives of the saints, students were encouraged to make their faith visible in their everyday actions, relationships, and service to others.
As the school community concluded the Month of the Holy Rosary, the celebration served as a reminder that, like Mary and the saints, every Bosconian is called to live a life of faith, love, and holiness.
Indeed, the saints are not merely remembered and celebrated; they are models to follow and inspirations for every Bosconian striving to become a saint in everyday life.
