The Provincial Councils of the Philippine North Province (FIN) and the Philippine South Province (FIS) held a Joint Provincial Council meeting on September 24, 2026, focusing on coordination, formation, youth ministry, and the life of the two Provinces.

The meeting provided an opportunity to share updates on initial and ongoing formation, the accompaniment of confreres, and areas where the two Provinces can strengthen collaboration in formation.

The Councils also discussed Youth Ministry, including ongoing programs, youth leadership and animation, vocation initiatives, and upcoming activities. The discussions emphasized the importance of meaningful presence and accompaniment of young people, responding to their changing realities and needs.

Updates from both Provinces highlighted various pastoral, educational, formation, and youth ministry initiatives, while identifying opportunities for greater coordination and shared resources.

The meeting reaffirmed the commitment of FIN and FIS to walk together in communion and collaboration, strengthening the Salesian mission for and with young people in the Philippines.
