Don Bosco Philippines South Province

Delegates from Don Bosco Philippine South Province (FIS) participated in the International Conference on Youth Ministry 2024 (ICYM) from April 4 to 6, 2024 at the Ateneo de Manila University. ICYM 2024 was hosted by the Loyola School of Theology in cooperation with the Don Bosco School of Theology. The FIS delegation comprised of the Commission on Youth Ministry, Social Communications Team, and Don Bosco Technical College Pastoral Animation Team.

With the theme “Youth Ministry: Towards a Fullness of Life for All,” ICYM2024 served as a  platform to explore the core principles, vision, best practices, and effective strategies of youth ministry amidst today’s evolving social and cultural landscapes.

Moreover, the conference featured three days of dialogue which includes four plenary talks, two panel discussions, and 11 parallel workshops. Fr. Fidel Ma. Orendain, SDB, FIS Provincial Superior led a session on Conflict Resolution and Mediation. As the conference concluded, participants gained renewed inspiration and tools to continue ministering young people in their journey towards a fuller life.
