SLSDB Holds Four-Day SYM Fair, Opens Registration for 15 Sodalities

St. Louis School of Don Bosco (SLSDB) successfully concluded its Salesian Youth Movement (SYM) Fair, held from June 16 to 19, 2026, culminating in the opening of registrations for the school’s 15 sodalities.
The fair officially opened with a Kick-Off Program on June 16, introducing students to the Salesian Youth Movement and its role in promoting faith, service, and leadership among Bosconians. Throughout the week, each morning assembly featured presentations by the sodalities, giving students an overview of their nature, mission, activities, and opportunities for involvement.
In addition to the morning presentations, the sodalities set up interactive booths around the school gym, where students could learn more about each organization’s identity through exhibits, games, and conversations with members. The sodalities at SLSDB-Dumaguete are: Friends of Laura Vicuña, Junior Missionary Club, Lilies of the Altar, Carlo Acutis, St. Joseph, Juventus, Auxilium, Federation of Choirs and Musicians, Laudato Si, Blessed Sacrament, Zatti Friends, Savio Friends, Biblos, Seekers Club, and Knights of the Altar.
The SYM Fair concluded on June 19 with the official opening of registrations, allowing students to choose the sodality they wish to join for School Year 2026–2027. Through this annual event, SLSDB continues to encourage students to become active members of the school community by participating in youth groups that foster spiritual growth, leadership, and service.
