The Youth Steering Team of Don Bosco Youth Center – Lourdes successfully held The Ultimate Talent Night on June 6, 2026, at the DBYC-Lourdes Gymnasium. The event brought together young people, parents, friends, and supporters for an evening filled with music, creativity, and outstanding performances.

Seven youth groups took part in the competition: Savio Friends Club, Knights of the Altar, Auxilium Sodality, Zatti Friends Club, Lilies of the Altar, Santa Cecilia Youth Choir, and Lourdes Parish Youth Rondalla. For almost a month, the participants spent their evenings at the youth center practicing and preparing for their performances, showing their dedication and commitment to the event.

The program officially started at 7:30 PM, with the Savio Friends Club opening the competition, followed by the Knights of the Altar. The audience was then entertained by a special intermission number from Ervin Joe Miñoza of the Santa Cecilia Youth Choir, who showcased his talent through an impressive Rubik’s Cube magic performance.

The competition continued with performances from Auxilium Sodality, Zatti Friends Club, Lilies of the Altar, Santa Cecilia Youth Choir, and Lourdes Parish Youth Rondalla. Each group brought its own unique talents to the stage, earning applause and support from the audience.

After all the performances, the much-awaited awarding ceremony followed. Lourdes Parish Youth Rondalla was declared the Champion of The Ultimate Talent Night for its remarkable performance. Lilies of the Altar secured the 1st Runner-Up title, while the Santa Cecilia Youth Choir was named 2nd Runner-Up. Zatti Friends Club earned the 3rd Runner-Up title.

Meanwhile, the Knights of the Altar, Auxilium Sodality, and Savio Friends Club received Consolation Awards in recognition of their hard work, effort, and participation in the competition.

The evening concluded with the closing remarks of our Parish Priest, Rev. Fr. Jhun Paradiang, SDB. He congratulated all the participants and encouraged them to continue developing and sharing their talents. He also reminded everyone of the words of St. John Bosco: “A house without music is like a body without a soul,” highlighting the importance of music, creativity, and joy in the life of every young person.

More than just a competition, The Ultimate Talent Night became a celebration of the gifts and talents of the youth. It provided an opportunity for young people to express themselves, build confidence, strengthen friendships, and inspire one another. Through this event, the youth of Don Bosco Youth Center – Lourdes once again showed that their talents, when nurtured and shared, can bring joy and life to the entire community.
